Joel will take part in the Star Mazda Championship as reward for winning the Skip Barber series.

2007 

Skip Barber National Series 2007 Champion, winning in style with a final race win.  Crowned with 2 poles, 5 wins and 10 podiums from 14 starts, a total of 404 points and a margin of 36 points over Ricky Taylor.

As part of the prize for winning the Team USA scholarship award, Joel traveled to England to compete in the Formula Palmer Audi Winter Series over a total of 6 races at Brands Hatch and Snetterton.
