| Rookie Joel Miller of Hesperia, California ended testing for the
2008 Star Mazda Series presented by Goodyear Championship at Sebring,

Weather conditions during the
week testing so far have been hot but with cloud cover and changing wind
conditions.
During Tuesday morning’s practice session Joel was quickest in the
session by 0.3 seconds from his nearest challenger.
Joel stated he was "pleased
with the work JDC has done since the last test at Sebring" and that "my engineer Rick Cameron had been
working hard on setup details which produced a well balanced race
car." The plan for Tuesday afternoon was to do a long
distance run as it was anticipated the session would be slower; Joel was again
quickest by 0.3 seconds.
For Wednesday's only test session, the wind
conditions had changed direction on the track causing a headwind down the long
straights and causing problems into some turns, however, Joel overcame these
problems again posting the quickest session time by 0.006 seconds.
