Trois-Rivieres (August 19, 2008) – Joel Miller had another top 5 weekend at the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres by finishing 4^th in the final race Sunday, making his tally five top 5 finishes in 7 starts in the Star Mazda Championship.

This was Miller's first ever street race, and he came to grips quickly by posting a time good enough for 2^nd on the charts in the first practice. He was able to run in the top 5 for every session during the weekend but had some difficulty with overall set up. "Our car was a top 5 car during the weekend, but it lacked overall grip which hurt our speed to move forward," commented Miller. In qualifying, he was able to acquire a 4^th place starting position for the Sunday feature.

Come raceday, Joel got a clean start going into turn 1, and for the 40 lap race ran without any dramas. Miller was able to finish 4^th and close the gap to the series point leader in the championship. After the race Miller said, “We needed to get points this weekend especially after losing the championship lead from some bad luck last weekend at Road America. Fourth is ok, so we will regroup for next weekend at Mosport.”

The Star Mazda Championship finishes its three race North American 'road trip' this coming weekend with the next round at Mosport in Canada supporting the American LeMans Series.
